Times Square

Advertising. You see it everywhere, in your home town, at your favorite restaurant, driving on the highway, basically there’s no end to it. For example Times Square in New York City is filled with random eye catchers which probably cost millions for the companies. Companies will go out of their way to make sure they get your attention, they could add colors or electronics and of course they make their signs BIG. Not like the posters you see at school telling you to donate blood or the signs people hold up to get your attention for a car wash. I mean businesses really go big or go home, and of course sometimes it gets annoying but how much you wanna bet they get more and more sales due to their billboard in Time Square. I know the price for that billboard probably paid off. But how much do you think their gaining?

When advertsers put up ads it is the soul purpose is for you to go out and buy the product. All of these companies just want you to try the product because once you try it you have to have it. All the ads on time square are alot different from each other. The things they have in common are how big and bright they are. They spend millions on these ads because they want to be on top. You ask does any of these companies gain anything from these ads. Well it depends what the product is and how it is displayed. Some ads just don't work. They do not draw the person in enough to buy the product. But when some time you see an ad it is so well laid out you go out and buy it. Also the ad depends on where it is located. Place kent is one of the keys to being successful. These companies put the products out as best they can to make you choose a product. Hoping it is there's you use.
